Denmark shares lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.03%

Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals , Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.03%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO: MAERSKa ), which rose 3.93% or 355 points to trade at 9385 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) added 3.68% or 352 points to end at 9906 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO: FLS ) was up 2.27% or 9.0 points to 406.2 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ), which lost 2.33% or 15.6 points to trade at 655.2 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO: COLOb ) declined 0.93% or 6.4 points to end at 680.0 and ISS A/S (CO: ISS ) shed 0.87% or 2.00 points to 226.90.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 62 to 53 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.71% or 0.49 to $68.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.34% or 0.26 to hit $76.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1214.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.34% to 6.3643, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4571.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 94.47.
