Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.30%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare , Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.30% to hit a new 1-month high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO: MAERSKa ), which rose 2.75% or 200 points to trade at 7480 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) added 2.74% or 208 points to end at 7808 and Genmab (CO: GEN ) was up 2.56% or 27.0 points to 1082.5 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CO: CARLb ), which lost 1.15% or 9.0 points to trade at 770.6 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) declined 0.29% or 1.3 points to end at 441.0 and Nordea Bank AB (CO: NDA ) shed 0.16% or 0.10 points to 61.86.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 80 to 38 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.28% or 0.90 to $69.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $73.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1247.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.07% to 6.3813, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4546.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.48.
