Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.85%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods , Healthcare and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.85% to hit a new 1-month high.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which rose 3.11% or 14.1 points to trade at 467.1 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO: NDA ) added 2.68% or 1.76 points to end at 67.44 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ) was up 2.54% or 8.9 points to 359.3 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ), which lost 1.92% or 7.80 points to trade at 399.10 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO: ISS ) declined 0.61% or 1.40 points to end at 226.90 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ) shed 0.02% or 0.1 points to 413.7.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 73 to 44 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.43% or 0.97 to $68.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.05% or 0.77 to hit $73.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1225.40 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.3787, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4508.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.42.
