Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Copenhagen Consumer Goods, OMX Copenhagen Personal & Household Goods PI and Copenhagen Health Care sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.34% or 28.00 points to trade at 865.40 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.86% or 18.50 points to end at 1,013.50 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 1.82% or 2.20 points to 123.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which fell 5.32% or 640.00 points to trade at 11,380.00 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 5.16% or 635.00 points to end at 11,680.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) down 2.95% or 11.80 points to 387.70.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 75 to 66 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.57% or 0.47 to $82.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.43% or 0.37 to hit $86.17 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 21.15 to trade at $2,376.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.07% to 6.89, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 104.59.
