Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Copenhagen Oil & Gas, Copenhagen Consumer Goods and Copenhagen Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.62%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which rose 4.00% or 4.20 points to trade at 107.90 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 2.52% or 66.00 points to end at 2,688.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 2.45% or 280.00 points to 11,725.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.74% or 15.80 points to trade at 891.80 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb) declined 1.09% or 4.50 points to end at 409.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) down 0.95% or 7.00 points to 729.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones by 70 to 59 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.15% or 0.10 to $68.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.06% or 0.04 to hit $72.26 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.60 to trade at $2,665.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 106.18.
