Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.48%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods , Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.48%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ), which rose 4.32% or 11.9 points to trade at 287.5 at the close. Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ) added 1.15% or 1.8 points to end at 159.0 and DSV (CO: DSV ) was up 1.10% or 5.8 points to 532.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO: GN ), which lost 2.52% or 7.3 points to trade at 282.7 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ) declined 1.22% or 2.6 points to end at 210.0 and Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ) shed 0.86% or 4.00 points to 461.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 53 and 34 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 2.64% or 1.41 to $54.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.72% or 1.05 to hit $62.25 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1310.15 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.5366, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4658.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 95.593.
