Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.45%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals , Industrials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.45%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ), which rose 2.04% or 196 points to trade at 9800 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO: MAERSKa ) added 1.94% or 175 points to end at 9190 and Pandora A/S (CO: PNDORA ) was up 1.05% or 5.4 points to 519.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO: JYSK ), which lost 1.50% or 5.3 points to trade at 348.1 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO: NDA ) declined 1.05% or 0.66 points to end at 62.00 and Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ) shed 0.70% or 2.60 points to 367.40.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 64 to 52 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.30% or 0.20 to $66.56 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.66% or 0.50 to hit $76.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.80 to trade at $1302.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.37% to 6.3202, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4498.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 93.58.
