Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.38% – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.38%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ), which rose 5.25% or 9.4 points to trade at 188.4 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO: VWS ) added 3.65% or 15.4 points to end at 437.8 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO: CARLb ) was up 1.85% or 14.0 points to 770.8 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ), which lost 3.93% or 7.0 points to trade at 170.1 in late trade. DSV (CO: DSV ) declined 1.52% or 9.0 points to end at 583.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ) shed 1.10% or 2.8 points to 252.0.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 85 to 43 and 11 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.09% or 0.77 to $71.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $78.81 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.77% or 9.30 to trade at $1202.00 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.30% to 6.3519, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4596.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 93.82.
