Denmark shares higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 0.15%
Credit: © Reuters. – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas , Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.15%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO: DANSKE ), which rose 1.65% or 3.0 points to trade at 184.8 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO: ORSTED ) added 1.11% or 4.40 points to end at 399.30 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO: MAERSKb ) was up 1.11% or 102 points to 9256 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO: AMBUb ), which lost 1.66% or 3.6 points to trade at 213.8 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO: WDH ) declined 1.33% or 3.4 points to end at 251.8 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO: CHRH ) shed 1.14% or 7.2 points to 622.6.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 67 to 44 and 27 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.26% or 1.55 to $67.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.86% or 1.44 to hit $75.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.20 to trade at $1203.50 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.4189, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4559.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 95.09.
