Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the COL Financial, COL Investment and COL Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL), which rose 3.48% or 400.00 points to trade at 11,900.00 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH) added 1.06% or 1,300.00 points to end at 123,500.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) was up 1.04% or 760.00 points to 73,700.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:ISA), which fell 3.67% or 820.00 points to trade at 21,500.00 in late trade. Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) declined 2.14% or 1,120.00 points to end at 51,100.00 and Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) down 1.99% or 480.00 points to 23,700.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.52% or 9.45 to $365.55 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 6.53% or 670.00 to hit $10,927.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.61% or 19.55 to trade at $3,207.05 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.33% to 4,186.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.01% to 739.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 100.84.
