Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the COL Financial, COL Investment and COL Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL), which rose 1.77% or 200.00 points to trade at 11,500.00 at the close. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:CFV) added 1.65% or 300.00 points to end at 18,500.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was up 1.53% or 65.00 points to 4,320.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:NCH), which fell 4.39% or 5,480.00 points to trade at 119,400.00 in late trade. Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) declined 4.35% or 2,420.00 points to end at 53,200.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) down 3.12% or 340.00 points to 10,560.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 2.55% or 9.30 to $374.10 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 6.53% or 648.00 to hit $10,567.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.74% or 55.45 to trade at $3,243.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.04% to 4,201.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.04% to 739.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 100.67.
