Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the COL Financial, COL Investment and COL Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE), which rose 6.84% or 620.00 points to trade at 9,680.00 at the close. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC:GEB) added 2.97% or 85.00 points to end at 2,945.00 and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) was up 2.26% or 700.00 points to 31,700.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:SIS), which fell 2.25% or 1,000.00 points to trade at 43,500.00 in late trade. Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:TPL) declined 1.60% or 180.00 points to end at 11,100.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) down 0.37% or 15.00 points to 4,060.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
Shares in Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:BBO) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.26% or 700.00 to 31,700.00.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.08% or 0.30 to $387.65 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.46% or 132.00 to hit $9,200.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 24.40 to trade at $3,330.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.72% to 4,224.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.60% to 747.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 100.26.
