Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the COL Financial, COL Investment and COL Public Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p), which rose 1.66% or 360.00 points to trade at 22,100.00 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) added 1.59% or 700.00 points to end at 44,600.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was up 1.34% or 90.00 points to 6,790.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:BVC), which fell 2.22% or 280.00 points to trade at 12,320.00 in late trade. Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) declined 0.87% or 5.00 points to end at 573.00 and Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC) down 0.63% or 320.00 points to 50,080.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.17% or 4.55 to $385.30 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 2.98% or 266.00 to hit $9,191.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.47% or 50.25 to trade at $3,372.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.03% to 4,298.90, while BRL/COP rose 0.03% to 748.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.68% at 99.73.
