Colombia shares lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.25% – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Investment , Public Services and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.25%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN: BBO ), which rose 3.03% or 2000.0 points to trade at 68000.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN: CCB_p ) added 2.31% or 150.0 points to end at 6650.0 and Etb (CN: ETB ) was up 1.83% or 6.0 points to 333.0 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN: CLH ), which lost 2.26% or 130.0 points to trade at 5620.0 in late trade. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN: NCH ) declined 2.20% or 540.0 points to end at 24000.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN: SIS_p ) shed 1.50% or 480.0 points to 31500.0.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 13 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.82% or 0.80 to $97.15 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 1.17% or 26.00 to hit $2198.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1205.40 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.10% to 2998.90, while BRL/COP rose 0.30% to 736.63.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 93.72.
