Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the COL Industrial, COL Services and COL Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.39% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which rose 2.18% or 360.00 points to trade at 16,880.00 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC:CNE) added 1.10% or 100.00 points to end at 9,200.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) was up 1.04% or 180.00 points to 17,480.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (BVC:ECO), which fell 2.31% or 40.00 points to trade at 1,695.00 in late trade. Cementos Argos SA (BVC:CCB) declined 1.31% or 140.00 points to end at 10,580.00 and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:BIC_p1) down 1.23% or 540.00 points to 43,460.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.39% or 1.50 to $389.75 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 4.07% or 347.00 to hit $8,865.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 3.59% or 119.25 to trade at $3,441.55 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.02% to 4,301.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.02% to 752.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.57% at 99.07.
