China shares lower at close of trade; Shanghai Composite down 0.22% – China equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services , Telecoms and Mobile sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Shanghai, the Shanghai Composite lost 0.22%, while the SZSE Component index fell 0.70%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the Shanghai Composite were Founder Technology Group Co Ltd (SS: 600601 ), which rose 10.08% or 0.260 points to trade at 2.840 at the close. Gangtai Holdin (SS: 600687 ) added 10.07% or 0.600 points to end at 6.560 and Shanghai Sanmao Enterprise Group Co Ltd A (SS: 600689 ) was up 10.05% or 1.050 points to 11.500 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Eastern Gold Jade Co Ltd (SS: 600086 ), which lost 10.00% or 0.660 points to trade at 5.940 in late trade. China Hainan Rubber Industry Group Co Ltd (SS: 601118 ) declined 9.97% or 0.660 points to end at 5.960 and DELIXI XINJIANG Transportation Co Ltd (SS: 603032 ) shed 8.81% or 3.27 points to 33.86.

The top performers on the SZSE Component were Chuying Agro-Pastoral Group Co Ltd (SZ: 002477 ) which rose 10.13% to 1.74, Nanjing Huadong Electronics Information & Technology Co Ltd (SZ: 000727 ) which was up 7.69% to settle at 1.54 and Qingdao TGOOD Electric Co Ltd (SZ: 300001 ) which gained 6.94% to close at 14.80.

The worst performers were Wanda Cinema Line Corp (SZ: 002739 ) which was down 10.00% to 22.67 in late trade, Maanshan Fangyuan Slewing Ring Co Ltd (SZ: 002147 ) which lost 9.99% to settle at 7.84 and Beijing Shouhang Resources Saving Co Ltd (SZ: 002665 ) which was down 9.93% to 3.81 at the close.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 833 to 566 and 73 ended unchanged on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The CBOE China Etf Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of Shanghai Composite options, was unchanged 0.00% to 27.37.

In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.08% or 1.00 to $1225.20 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.23% or 0.14 to hit $61.81 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.25% or 0.18 to trade at $72.25 a barrel.

USD/CNY was up 0.10% to 6.9270, while EUR/CNY rose 0.10% to 7.9166.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.23% at 96.03.
