BRIEF-Russia's Novatek signs MOU with India's H-Energy on LNG

Sept 4 (Reuters) - Russia's largest independent natural gas producer Novatek PAO NVTK.MM says:

* Novatek signed a memorandum of understanding with India's H-Energy;

* The memorandum envisages cooperation on liquefied natural gas and supplies to India on a long-term basis;

* Novatek says the MOU also envisages joint investment in H-Energy's future LNG terminals and Novatek's LNG projects;

* Novatek says companies plan to set up a joint venture to market LNG and natural gas from Novatek's portfolio to end-customers in India, Bangladesh and other markets.
