Brazil shares lower at close of trade; Bovespa down 1.04%

Investing.com – Brazil equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate , Consumption and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa lost 1.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Bovespa were Marfrig Alimentos SA (SA: MRFG3 ), which rose 1.22% or 0.08 points to trade at 6.66 at the close. Natura Cosmeticos SA (SA: NATU3 ) added 1.15% or 0.38 points to end at 33.38 and Ambev SA (SA: ABEV3 ) was up 1.09% or 0.18 points to 16.64 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Magazine Luiza SA (SA: MGLU3 ), which lost 8.36% or 14.46 points to trade at 158.50 in late trade. Kroton Educacional SA (SA: KROT3 ) declined 5.54% or 0.68 points to end at 11.60 and EcoRodovias SA (SA: ECOR3 ) shed 4.07% or 0.39 points to 9.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 233 to 215 and 35 ended unchanged on the BM&FBovespa Stock Exchange.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility , which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 1.02% to 39.97.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.13% or 1.60 to $1228.20 a troy ounce. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.43% or 0.90 to hit $62.20 a barrel, while the December US coffee C contract fell 3.07% or 3.60 to trade at $113.50 .
USD/BRL was up 0.94% to 3.7612, while EUR/BRL rose 1.02% to 4.2943.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.00% at 96.09.
