TCS Q1 Margins Hold, Revenue Falters: SEBI RAs See Caution Ahead, Advise Watching ₹3,740 Breakout Level
Investing.com – Brazil equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Public Utilities and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Sao Paulo, the Bovespa declined 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Bovespa were BRF SA (BVMF:BRFS3), which rose 4.67% or 0.97 points to trade at 21.76 at the close. Marfrig Alimentos SA (BVMF:MRFG3) added 4.46% or 1.04 points to end at 24.36 and Raia Drogasil SA (BVMF:RADL3) was up 3.64% or 0.51 points to 14.51 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cosan SA Industria e Comercio (BVMF:CSAN3), which fell 4.67% or 0.34 points to trade at 6.94 in late trade. Grupo Vamos SA (BVMF:VAMO3) declined 4.24% or 0.19 points to end at 4.29 and Raizen SA Preferred (BVMF:RAIZ4) down 4.07% or 0.07 points to 1.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones by 525 to 411 and 71 ended unchanged on the B3 Stock Exchange.
Shares in Raizen SA Preferred (BVMF:RAIZ4) fell to all time lows; falling 4.07% or 0.07 to 1.65.
The CBOE Brazil Etf Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of Bovespa options, was down 0.61% to 26.03 a new 3-month low.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 0.02% or 0.60 to $3,386.30 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 8.90% or 6.57 to hit $67.27 a barrel, while the September US coffee C contract rose 3.03% or 9.55 to trade at $324.60 .
USD/BRL was down 0.30% to 5.50, while EUR/BRL rose 0.20% to 6.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.96.
