Home Depot announced earnings per share of $5.05 on revenue of $43.79B. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $4.94 on revenue of $43.36B.

Home Depot shares are down 24% from the beginning of the year and are trading at $314.61 , down-from-52-week-high.They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is down 9.84% year to date.

Tesla had beat expectations on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 with second quarter EPS of $2.27 on revenue of $16.93B, compared to forecast for EPS of $1.81 on revenue of $16.54B.
