BuzzFeed earnings miss, Revenue beats in Q3

Investing.com - BuzzFeed reported on Monday third quarter earnings that missed analysts' forecasts and revenue that topped expectations.

BuzzFeed announced earnings per share of $-0.190 on revenue of $103.7M. Analysts polled by Investing.com anticipated EPS of $-0.170 on revenue of $94.14M.

BuzzFeed shares are down 30% from the beginning of the year and are trading at $1.610 , down-from-52-week-high.

BuzzFeed follows other major Communication Services sector earnings this month

BuzzFeed's report follows an earnings missed by Alphabet C on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, who reported EPS of $1.06 on revenue of $69.09B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.26 on revenue of $71B.

Meta Platforms had missed expectations on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 with third quarter EPS of $1.64 on revenue of $27.71B, compared to forecast for EPS of $1.9 on revenue of $27.44B.
