Adani Ent. Slides 7%, Top Loser on Nifty; 6/10 Stocks Hit 5% Upper Circuit

Investing.com -- Most Adani Group-listed stocks continued to hit 5% upper circuits on Thursday’s session despite overall weakness in the domestic market, while the Nifty-listed Adani majors tanked up to 7% in the intraday trade.

The flagship company of Adani Group, Adani Enterprises (NS: ADEL ) and Adani Ports tumbled up to 7% on Thursday, leading the losses on the Nifty50 pack.

On the contrary, six out of 10 listed stocks of the ports-to-power conglomerate hit 5% upper circuits on Thursday, including Adani Power (NS: ADAN ) and Adani Wilmar (NS: ADAW ) despite getting added to the Short-Term Additional Surveillance Measure (ST-ASM) by NSE, starting March 9, 2023.

Adani Enterprises has also been added to the short-term surveillance by the leading stock exchange, just a day after being removed from the list.

Here’s how Adani Group stocks performed in Thursday’s afternoon trade.

  • Adani Enterprises: slides 5.24% while writing and tanks 6.6% to hit the day’s low at Rs 1,905.35/share.
  • Adani Total Gas (NS: ADAG ): hits a 5% upper circuit at Rs 904.4 apiece.
  • Adani Green Energy (NS: ADNA ): hits a 5% upper circuit at Rs 650.2 apiece.
  • Adani Transmission (NS: ADAI ): hits a 5% upper circuit at Rs 861.4/share.
  • Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (NS: APSE ): down 2.7%, declines 3.2% to hit the day’s low at Rs 689.3/share.
  • Adani Power: hits a 5% upper circuit at Rs 195.9 apiece.
  • Adani Wilmar: hits a 5% upper circuit at Rs 484.45 apiece.
  • NDTV (NS: NDTV ): hits 5% upper circuit at Rs 254.3 apiece.
  • ACC (NS: ACC ): slips 1.5%.
  • Ambuja Cements (NS: ABUJ ): 1.3% lower at Rs 387/share while writing.
