5 Midcaps Which Have Fallen 8-12% in August

By Aditya Raghunath

Investing.com -- There have been quite a few midcap stocks that have taken a beating in August as volatility in the markets has increased. Investors are turning towards the safety of large caps and this has meant that mid-and-small cap stocks are underperforming the markets.

The Nifty Midcap 50 has fallen 4.5% in August. However, there are some midcaps that have taken a steeper fall. Market experts have said that the fall could be due to profit booking as some of these stocks had run up very quickly.
