Stocks continued to trade lower Tuesday on growing concerns about a recession as bank executives discussed their outlook at today's Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) conference. Amid the downside, several rumors swirled around Wall Street. Below we highlight a few:

Yelp (NYSE:YELP) saw a brief tick higher on takeover rumors after it canceled the upcoming Barclays Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference on Dec, 7th. However, Yelp told StreetInsider.com that the decision to pull from the conference at the last minute was due to compliance with COVID-19 health and safety guidance and protocols.

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) is exploring building a "super app" that could include shopping, messaging, news, and web search services among others, The Information reported.

One Medical (NASDAQ:ONEM) ticked lower on reports the FTC issued subpoenas related to the takeover of the company by Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN). In July, Amazon agreed to acquire the company for $3.9 billion.
