With a market capitalization of Rs. 3,043.58 crores, Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd opened the trading session at Rs. 534, 1.18% above the previous close of Rs. 231.25. The stock reached an intraday high of Rs. 235, reflecting a 1.68% increase from the previous close.

Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited was incorporated in 1983, It is engaged in the exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in India, both onshore and offshore.

On September 30, 2024 BofA Securities Europe SA, an American multinational investment banking division under the auspices of Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) bought 7.14 lakh shares of Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. Ltd at Rs. 230 per share with the total transaction amounting to Rs.16.4 crore while a promoter Ramasamy Jeevanandam offloaded a 0.6% stake in the company amounting to 8 lakh shares for Rs 18.4 crore

For Q1FY25 the company reported a net profit decrease of 36.36% to Rs. 42 crores compared to net profit of Rs. 66 crores in Q1FY24, while revenue from operations also marked a decrease by 19.04% to Rs. 136 crores from Rs. 168 crores in comparison to the same period.

SpiceJet (NS:SPJT) Limited

With a market capitalization of Rs. 8,534.75 crores, SpiceJet Limited opened the trading session at Rs. 65.50, 2.82% above the previous close of Rs. 63.70. The stock reached an intraday high of Rs. 69.25, reflecting a 8.71 % increase from previous close.

SpiceJet Ltd is principally engaged in the business of providing air transport services for the carriage of passengers and cargo.SpiceJet is a low-cost airline operating in India primarily.

On September 30, 2024, Plutus Wealth Management LLP a DII based in Ahmedabad bought 85 lakh shares of SpiceJet Ltd at an average price of Rs. 59.95 per share with the total transaction amounting to Rs. 50.95 crore.

For Q1FY25 the company reported a net profit decrease of 26.82% to Rs. 150 crores compared to net profit of Rs. 205 crores in Q1FY24, while revenue from operations also marked a decrease by 15.28% to Rs. 1,696 crores from Rs. 2,002 crores in comparison to the same period.
