Toby Head 2017 - Investment career commenced upon joining Schroders in 1992. Currently a fund manager managing Regional and Hong Kong/China equity mandates. Based in Hong Kong. Toby was seconded to Hong Kong in 1995 after 3 years working as an UK equity analyst in London. In 1995, he started covering Hong Kong equities before becoming responsible for financials research across the Asia ex Japan region. Toby became Head of North Asian research in 2001 and Head of Asia ex Japan Equities Research in 2002. He started to manage money in 2003, a large regional financial sector portfolio for a sovereign wealth fund. In 2007, he started to manage regional equity and officially took over as the lead on Hong Kong/China mandates at the start of 2008. Toby became the Head of Asian ex Japan Equity Investments in July 2017. Institute of Investment Management and Research (IIMR) associate. MA in Geography, Cambridge University.
Robin Co-Head 2010 2018 Robin Parbrook is the Co-head of Asian Alternative investments at Schroders, his main responsibility is co-running the Asian Total Return Fund and Asian Total Return Investment Company. In 2017 he returned to the UK having spent most of the previous 25 years with Schroders in Asia. Prior to this he was head of the Asian Equity Team, overseeing the investment team and equity products managed in the region. He joined Schroders in 1990 and is based in London. Robin was the Head of Asian Equities at Schroders (based in Hong Kong) from 2010 to 2017. He was the Co-Manager SISF Asian Total Return Fund at Schroders UK (based in Edinburgh) from 2007 to 2010. He was an Asian Equity Fund Manager (and Team Head from 2004) at Schroders Hong Kong/Singapore from 1992 to 2007. Alongside the Asian Total Return Funds he also managed the SISF Asian Opportunities fund until the end of 2017. Qualifications: MA in Economics from Edinburgh University.
Manish Portfolio Manager 2008 2010 Manish Bhatia is an Asia ex Japan Equity Portfolio Manager at Schroders, which involves managing SISF Indian Equity fund and core Regional Equity mandates. He joined Schroders in 2008 and is based in Hong Kong. Manish was the Head of Asia Pacific (ex HK/China) at Manulife Asset Management from 2006 to 2008, which involved managing several Asia Pacific portfolios including funds for India and Taiwan. He was a Fund Manager at Hamon Asset Management from 2001 to 2006, which involved moving to Hong Kong and managing a Technology sector fund as well as Regional Absolute Return portfolios. He was a Fund Manager at Unit Trust of India from 1994 to 2000, which involved being a research analyst and a fund manager. She joined Schroders in 1997 and is based in Hong Kong. Louisa was a Specialist fund manager at Schroders from 1997 to 2007, which involved managing the Greater China mandates for the Schroder ISF Taiwanese Equity, Schroder ISF China Opportunities, Schroder ISF Greater China and Schroder ISF Emerging Asia funds. Initially worked within Corporate Finance before moving to the Investment Department in 1986. He took over the fund management of the Schroder Pacific Growth Fund in 1993 and has been the fund manager for the Schroder International Selection Fund - Pacific Equity Fund, since launch.
