PEC Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, provides mechanical engineering and contracting services to the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and oil and chemical terminal industries in Singapore, China, the Middle east, and internationally. The company operates in three segments: Project Works; Plant Maintenance and Related Services; and Other Operations. It offers engineering services, including design, front-end engineering design, and detailed engineering; procurement services, such as material, equipment purchasing, and material management; construction services comprising fabrication and installation of piping, structures and pressure vessels, scaffolding, painting, insulation, and fire proofing services, as well as installation of mechanical equipment, and electrical instrumentation and control systems; and project management consultancy, and construction of plant/terminal. The company also provides plant maintenance works and related services, including tankage, static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, and instrument and control equipment maintenance works; and plant turnaround, de-bottlenecking, and upgrading services. In addition, it offers other ancillary activities, such as design, consultancy, and installation of metal scaffolding services; engineering consultancy services; equipment leasing; heat treatment services; hot and cold thermal insulation, refractory, and fire proofing services; information technology services and products; blasting services; testing and isolation services; and training services. Further, the company provides heavy machinery leasing; civil, mechanical, and electrical project services; marketing of CAR-BER tools and services; property investment and dormitory services; installation of scientific instruments; and commissioning of modular process solutions. PEC Ltd. was incorporated in 1982 and is headquartered in Singapore.
