Pine Point Mining Company Profile

Pine Point Mining Limited (formerly Darnley Bay Resources Limited) is a Canadian mineral development company formed in 1993 which changed its name on August 8, 2017 to Pine Point Mining Limited. In 2016, the Company acquired a 100% interest in the Pine Point zinc and lead project which covers just under 22,000 hectares near the town of Hay River, Northwest Territories. The Pine Point project had past production of 64 million tonnes grading 7.0% zinc and 3.1% lead from 52 deposits, and hosts an additional 46 undeveloped known deposits. As a first step towards bringing the project back into production, on April 18, 2017, the Company released the results of Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) which examined the economics of constructing a mine with a 13-year mine life based on the following resources: 25.8 million tonnes of measured and indicated grading 2.94% zinc and 1.12% lead, and an additional 3.7 million tonnes of inferred resources grading 2.90% zinc and 0.77% lead. During the year, an exploration programme commenced with the objective of expanding the resources. The Company is also in the planning stages of a Feasibility Study. Further information on the Pine Point project can be found on the Company website www.pinepointmining.com. Pine Point Mining Limited operates as a subsidiary of Osisko Metals Incorporated.
