City Insurance PLC. operates as a non-life insurance company in Bangladesh. The company offers fire and allied perils, industrial all risk, property all risk insurance, and power plant operational package insurance products; marine cargo, marine hull, and marine inland insurance products; private vehicle and commercial vehicle insurance products; and contractors’ all risk, erection all risk, boiler and pressure vessel, machinery breakdown, deterioration of stock, contractors’ plant and machinery, and electrical equipment insurance products. It also provides cash in transit, cash in safe, cash on counter, ATM booth, bank lockers, and fidelity guarantee insurance products; workmen’s compensation, peoples personal accident, and public liability insurance products; overseas mediclaim insurance products; and burglary and house breaking and personal accident insurance products. In addition, the company offers reinsurance products. The company was formerly known as City General Insurance Company Limited and changed its name to City Insurance PLC. In July 2024. City Insurance PLC. was incorporated in 1996 and is headquartered in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
