Indian Market Outlook:
Last Week Nifty Index made an all time high of 9913 and closed at 9886. Infra Power and Banks were among the top sectors for the week.
Bank Nifty also made an all time high of 23965 last week and closed at 23938.PNB up by 6.55%,ICICI Bank (NS:ICBK) by 2.95%, State Bank 4.11%, Axis Bank 1.95% were among the top movers in the Banking Index last Week.
Small Cap Index traded laggard last week in comparison to Nifty and could not break its all time high of 7679. The Index made a high of 7665 and closed at 7583.
Nifty to open gap up by 40.45 points at 9943.50 against last day close of 9903.05 as per SGX.
CASH SEGMENT FII AND DII ACTIVITY:
In Last 10 days FII and DII remain net buyer in cash market with Rs.2715.36 crs investment. This signifies big players are bullish in market.
OPEN INTEREST IN INDEX OPTIONS:
In last 10 days, both FII and PRO were buyers in Index Options. They have a combined buy figure of 289242 contracts. In the current Expiry also, FII and PRO have a net buy figure of 329962 contracts. Nifty made a low of 9449 on 30th Jun 17 and currently trading at 9886.
INTERNATIONAL MARKET UPDATE:
Last week, the US market remained strong after Janet Yellen said that US will remain in a mood to tighten monetary policy. Dow Jones closed at 21604 after making a record high of 21627.
The S&P 500 Future closed at 2457.12 after making a high of 2461.25.
The German Index Dax closed at 12641.60. The Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) Emerging Market Index is trading at 1047.05.
