Metals & Mining the upmost top performing major sector from last one week, has given an increment of 8.19% followed by IT, Power, Realty and Industrial Manufacturing which zoomed by 7.95%, 7.91%, 6.48% and 6.40%. NMDC (NS:NMDC), Hindustan Zinc (NS:HZNC), APL Apollo are the top performing stocks in Metals and Mining up by 9.01%, 5.85%, 2.43% respectively. NIIT (NS:NIIT) Technology, HCL Technology, Hexaware has given an increment of 4.37%, 4.17%, and 2.86% respectively. Where as in Power sector, KEC International (NS:KECL), Indian Energy Exchange, NLC India zoomed by 7.65%, 5.28%, 4.64% respectively. As far minor sector is concerned Sugar, Construction Supplies & Fixtures, Ship Building, Defene and Telecom are the top performing sectors up by 12.84%, 9.72%, 8.43%, 7.80% and 7.31 respectively.

On the Global front, the US Index, S&P 500 (futures) currently is trading at 3368 today. Hong Kong Benchmark Index, Hang Seng opened at 25441, currently trading at 25230. The Japan Benchmark Index, Nikkei opened at 23205 today, above its previous trading day’s close of 22843.
